Our Story

Canyon Coffee Roasters was born in a Lincoln, Nebraska garage in 2004 by Gregg Aksamit and his family of coffee-loving outdoor enthusiasts. Today, the Canyon team works tirelessly to continue Gregg and his family's legacy of celebrating excellent coffee and the great outdoors.

Specialty coffees are sourced through direct-trade relationships with producers and sustainability focused relationships with domestic importers.

Sample Evaluation

Each coffee sample we receive is evaluated for quality and analyzed for roast profile development. Every coffee is uniquely roasted to maximize the inherent flavor of the bean.

Nate Jones is the owner and managing member of Canyon Coffee Roasters. Nate is the proud husband of Kate, father of Sutton, and dog-dad of Otto. Nate can often be found roasting coffee, on his laptop in a local coffee shop, or working on one of his far-too-many hobbies.
